Graphene recently touted as the miracle material of the future due to its desirable properties has been recently used in a functional semiconductor.Reserchers at Georgi Tech introduced graphene into a robust semiconductor thereby overcoming the intrinsic conductivity challenge which had hampered graphene transistors and computer devices from becoming common. It is pedicted that graphene's tenfold speed advantage over silicon and heat resilience can enhance the performance in different applications right from mobile devices to quantum computing
